A very unique tea from old wild trees grown in the pristine, high elevation Lin Cang Mountains of the Yunnan Province. These are the unopened leaf buds of a camellia very similar to Camellia Cinensis (true tea). No caffeine.
Staff tasting impressions: fresh pine and eucalyptus, sweet, savory, and lightly smoky like a far off campfire.
Brewing instructions: 3 teaspoons per 12 oz pot. Boiling water and let steep for at least 3 minutes. Second steeping, allow 2 – 3 minutes.
